Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Tsavo East National Park

Pick up at your hotel or airport in the morning and depart for Tsavo East National Park.
You will head for Tsavo East National Park.
Arrive in good time for check-in and lunch at your lodge.
Afternoon game drive in the park in Tsavo East National park that is home to Zebra, impala, waterbuck, wildebeest, cheetah and giraffe to name but a few! You will visit Aruba Dam, one of the best places for elephant and lion.

 Day 2: Tsavo East -Tsavo West National Park

Breakfast at the lodge then you will depart for Tsavo West National Park with an enroute game drive. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.

After a short siesta embark for unlimited evening game drive in Tsavo West National Park, with its diverse scenery with many volcanic cones, rock outcrops and lava flows. A short trip to Mzima Springs, playground to the hippos, crocodiles and tropical fish.

Day 3: Tsavo West National Park-Amboseli National Park

An early morning departure takes you west, across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries to Amboseli.
Arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge.
Afternoon game drive in the Park.

A game drive through Amboseli take you across this vast lakebed often dry, but still very swampy in areas. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant you’ll often find many of them standing knee deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool. But there’s a lot of other game here too cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of gazelle and other plains game and it’s all set against the amazing backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro showing all its glory.

Day 4: Amboseli National Park
Full day in Amboseli enjoying a full day game drive.

A game drive through Amboseli take you across this vast lakebed often dry, but still very swampy in areas. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant you’ll often find many of them standing knee deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool. But there’s a lot of other game here too cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of gazelle and other plains game and it’s all set against the amazing backdrop of majestic Mount Kilimanjaro showing all its glory.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park-Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early breakfast you will proceed to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi, you travel west through the Kenya’s fertile highlands, where tea and coffee abound, and suddenly, to your left, the trees part to reveal a spectacular view of the Great Rift Valley, with dormant volcano Longonot at centre stage. Your panoramic journey will take you past Lake Naivasha, with its Crescent Island, Lake Elementaita. You arrive at your lodgel for lunch and check-in.
Later in the afternoon you shall drive to Lake Nakuru National for an evening game in Nakuru National Park which is, of course, known for its birdlife. But wildlife is also in abundance here. You’ll see large numbers of waterbuck, warthog, impala, buffalo, plains game, cheetah, and now rhino, as Lake Nakuru National Park has been made into one of Kenya’s rhino sanctuary.

Return back to your lodge by sunset.

Day 6: Nakuru–Masai Mara Game Reserve

Breakfast at the hotel then depart for Maasai Mara game reserve.
Arrive your destination for check-in and lunch.
This will be followed by an afternoon game drive in the reserve.
Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here, particularly when the migration is on and millions of wildebeests and zebras make their way back and forth cross the Mara River on their annual trek.
The Mara is also noted for its abundance of lions – particularly the superb black maned males. You’ll see lots of elephants here as well as – if you’re lucky the elusive leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents.

Day 7: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Today you will have an optional to book an early morning hot air balloon ride adventure which ends with champagne breakfast in the wilderness where is have a memorable experience of its kind at an extra cost.
Collect your picnic lunch boxes and embark for a full day game drives in Masai Mara for a true memorable adventure in search for the “Big five”

Return back to your camp/lodge by evening.

Day 8: Masai Mara-Depart

Breakfast at the camp, followed by a complimentary Maasai village visit then drive back to Nairobi.
Leave Masai Mara and head back to Narok, district headquarters of this part of Maasailand and then travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley keep an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle and head up the Rift Escarpment on a road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II. You will arrive in Kenya’s bustling capital city for the Farewell lunch at the Carnivore restaurant famous with barbecue game meat.

Thereafter transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for homeward flight.
